Alex FM 89.1 is a 24/7 community radio station broadcasting from Wynberg to the Greater Alexandra community and north-eastern Johannesburg. Founded by the Alexandra Community Trust in 1994, it is one of South Africa's oldest community radio stations, offering news, talk, education, entertainment and music in English, isiZulu, Sepedi, Setswana, Xitsonga, Venda, Sesotho and isiXhosa.
