The Race for Joburg: A Live Serial
A weekly real-life thriller series from the creator of My Only Story, Deon Wiggett, set in Johannesburg — the City of Gold. It asks whether anyone deserves to be your mayor, and whether any city deserves the mayor it ends up with. Wiggett uncovers a decade-long conspiracy whose reach extends to the listener as well. Part investigative journalism, part cautionary tale told from South Africa's largest city, it unfolds as a serialized narrative rather than a conventional news show.
